Da-Hu was
originally called MaAu or BaJiaLaQi or Masianmo. With the increasing of people who
reclaim the wasteland, it developed into a DaHuZhuang. Da-Hu was not only an important
street of the mountain but also a vital politic and military spot. During the GuangXiu year, Da-Hu Fu-Ken
police office, Dong-Jun big camp and Zhen-Yen camp led by Chou-Dong Lin were set in Da-Hu
street. The exact place can't be investigated. According to the map of Qing dynasty, it was roughly
known that Zhen-Yen camp might be located in WuLiauJiao around the village. Dong-Jun big
camp and Fu-Ken police office may be situated in the present government of the village or
police office.
